EMA Partners International
Toronto, CANADA
For Immediate Release —

The Partners and senior members of EMA Partners International held their annual meeting in São Paulo where they gathered to review and discuss economic and business trends that are impacting organizations, their structures and the acquisition of their talent. Based on a survey of searches conducted over the last four years across all of EMA’s global offices, the majority have experienced positive uptake on the total number of executive searches undertaken, with the greatest demand coming from within the Consumer Services & Retail and Financial Services sectors. There is an increasing demand for top tier talent who possess global experience, have a proven track record across functions and are able to demonstrate the potential to make a material difference, and will therefore have a measurable impact for the organization into which they are hired.

“Clients who come to us require high potential executives along with a very specific set of criteria, individuals who possesses the necessary competencies and are the right fit with the executive team and the organization’s culture. As search practitioners, we are finding there is a scarcity of talent given the specificities of C-level roles,” said EMA Partners International’s Chairman, Chris Hardy. He continued to state that, “more and more clients are extending their reach to look for talent well beyond their local territories and we are conducting more and more global searches.”

The meeting in São Paulo brought together Partners from offices in nearly 30 countries. Two new offices were inaugurated into the organization: EMA Partners Calgary and EMA Partners Japan. Partners welcomed the introduction of a new associate office in Turkey, with a satellite office in Mauritius.
